Help desk working principles
• Help Desk aims at serving to NGOs and civil enterprises working in any field in Black Sea Region.
• Help Desk works in certain distance to all NGOs objectively and it only give priorities when there is an emergency in question.
• When the applicant's question reaches the help desk, the applicant will be informed in 2 workdays.
• Comeback time to applicants is 3 workdays in principle. The longest time for reply the questions requiring different expertise is 10 days.
• Help desk works in confidentially principle, the questions will not be shared other institutions and persons. When necessary, they can be used anonymously in frequently asked questions.
Mr. Martin Vetter who is First Secretary of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany and Ms. Sevinç Geliç who is Human Rights Program Specialist of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany have visited our association.
Mr.Chris Cooter who is the Canada's Ambassador in Ankara and Mr. Caren Cooter who is the Ambassador's wife have visited our association. During the visit, a briefing has been given about our project whose titled is "Gender Equality,Women’s and Environmental Rights" that is supported by CFLI.
We have completed the training seminar of our project whose titled is "Gender Equality, Women's and Environmental Rights" which we carried out jointly with Kaçed Association with great interest of the participants. The seminars have been held in 3 stages. 50 women have participated in each stage.
Participation certificate has been given to the participants of the training seminar of our project whose titled is "Gender Equality, Women and Environment Rights" which we carried out jointly with Kaçed Association. Our project has been supported by the Canada Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI).
The representative of the Canadian Embassy in Ankara and CFLI Turkey Coordinator Ms. Gabriela LUNA have also attended the ceremony.
We held the "Training Seminars of Human Rights of the Women and Girls" that is supported by the British Embassy Embassy in Gümüşhane and Bayburt in partnership with the Kaced Association. Purpose of training seminars: (1) to increase their sensitivity and awareness of gender inequalities to carry out awareness and propaganda activities on the rights of women and girls and services related to this. (2) to strengthen the position of women and girls by communicating gender equality and women's rights approaches, including the values, functioning and policies on which the EU is built. There was great interest for the seminars. A total of 180 women have attended the seminars.
We have completed the training kit whose titled is "Empowerment of Women in the Eastern Black Sea Region-Women Friendly Cities" which we prepared with the support of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Turkey Office. Training kits have been given to the women who participated in the training activities that have been held in Artvin and Giresun. A total of 80 women and municipal employees have participated in these training activities.
The training organizations of "Strong Women" Project that is supported by Freedom House, has been held in Artvin, Rize and Trabzon with the great interest of women in Rural Regions. A total of 140 women have participated in our training activities. Women are women who live in the rural areas of the Eastern Black Sea Region (women who are in a double disadvantaged economically and socially).
''Five-Year Corporate Strategy Booklet, Five-Year Communication Strategy Booklet and Five-Year Communication Volunteering Strategy Booklet of our association'' have been prepared and reproduced scope of the “We Are Also Here” Project which we presented to the Project Grant Program of "Strengthening Non-Governmental Organizations and Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for the Development of Women's Rights and Gender Equality in Turkey" that is supported by the European Union (EU) and United Nations Women's Unit (UN Women). Three copies of each booklet have been distributed to our members.
''We have completed the “We Are Also Here” Project which we presented to the Project Grant Program of "Strengthening Non-Governmental Organizations and Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships for the Development of Women's Rights and Gender Equality in Turkey" that is supported by the European Union (EU) and United Nations Women's Unit (UN Women) with great interest.
The content and designs of the Training Sets of the "Strong Women" Project that is supported by the Switzerland Embassy have been completed with great care. Trainings will be given to 60 women after the preparation process of the training sets. A training set will be given to the participants in these trainings.
Training organizations of The Civil Society Dialogue Project for Strong Women that is supported by the European Union have been taken place in Rize and Ordu provinces with great intensity and have been completed on 27 June 2022. A total of 384 women beneficiaries have been participated in the training activities.
Two full-day trainings on “Women Friendly City Practice” have been given to 40 municipal employees within the scope of the Civil Society Dialogue for Strong Women Project that is supported by the European Union in Ordu and Rize on 23 June 2022.
The third international project activities of the Civil Society Dialogue for Strong Women Project that is supported by the European Union have been carried out between 20-23 June 2022. This work has been carried out in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. The work has been carried out with the participation of 5 Estonian, 5 Czech, 6 Turkish and 20 Lithuanian NGO representatives.
The conferences on "EU candidate Turkey" have been given within the scope of the Civil Society Dialogue for Strong Women Project that is supported by the European Union. The third and last of these conferences has been held in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania, on 22 June 2022. 20 Lithuanian NGO representatives on women have been attended to the conference.
The third international project activities of the Civil Society Dialogue for Strong Women Project that is supported by the European Union have been carried out between 26-29 May 2022. This work has been carried out in Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. 5 Lithuanian, 5 Czech and 6 Turkish participants have participated in the work.
The Association of Women's Movement in Rural Areas was founded in 2010. The short name of the association is "BİZ DE VARIZ", meaning "We are here, too".
The aim of the BİZ DE VARIZ Association is to realize, enhance, research, and assess the human rights of the women living in the rural areas of the Black Sea Region; protect them from rights violations; prevent violations; identify violations; improve women's access to public services with all the actions to provide them with legal support and assistance in the event of violations or where it is otherwise necessary; raise the social, economic, and political status of women; raise awareness and develop capacity against gender discrimination and violation; and enable the participation of women in economy, hence promoting women's employment.
